wanna start somewhere mid-jan in auckland (hope its not so could up there) and stay there for work a while, so if anyone is there at this time and could tell me about the do's and dont's in NZ (only been in aus before) let me know.
any bad hostels there in auckland i should avoid maybe?

btw. how long will it take to get the visa? was on the nz website 2 weeks ago for the whv, payment was made the same day and today its still on "Application Received".
