Hey guys!

I have no idea how I got onto this Travelpunk page, but it looks pretty cool!

Well, I'm going to Australia with my WHV in a few days and I'll probably stay there for the rest of the year. I'll be flying into Brisbane next week and the plan is to go up and down the East Coast... I haven't really planned anything yet... people have told me that you shouldn't plan anything when going to Oz, cause it never works out anyway.

So, the point of this message is... if any of you are down there and want to meet up for a beer or just hang out, drop me a line!

Did u know that Hasselhoff thinks that he caused the fall of the Berlin Wall because of his smash-hit Looking For Freedom or whatever it was called? That guy is nuts.

Anyways, I'm not sure whether I'll still be in Brisbane in May... we'll see how the city treats me! :) But if I'm still here in May, we should definitely go for a beer!

chances are you will still be there in may. alot of backpackers seem to get stuck along the goldcoast area, which is a pity as there is so much more to see in OZ,

If you can try to get away from the eastern states, its really huge country so be prepared for lots of travelling time between destinations. Some things you may want to check out up to the north (somewhere in the tropics, like Kakadu) and maybe some outback (I haven't been to Ularu yet, but i hear that it and Kings canyon are not to be missed.) also hmm theres not much to see in Adelaide (where i live) but Kangaroo island is amazing (especially the south coeast) and the grampians in Vic are pretty good too.
And dont forget to slip slop slap (you can spot tourists cos they're the red ones

Well enjoy your time and have a beer for me. I hope to be leaving OZ in a few months so it looks as if I'll just miss yo.
:crybaby:
