I'm going to Perugia, Italy for 3 months for a language immersion program then onto Paris for 2 weeks for another language immersion program. I'm probably going to (in this order maybe) Spain (about 2 weeks), Germany (about 1-2 weeks) and Ireland (about 1-2 weeks) for sure with other countries and places inbetween. I think I'll be winging most of it and will be traveling alone as far as I know.
Anybody want to meet up for a few days here or there???

I'd be happy to meet up for a few days somewhere in July or August, just have to decide what order I'm visiting countries in. I'm probably starting in England and heading to Spain for the running of the bulls, after that not really sure yet (plan to visit Italy, Holland, Germany, France, maybe Czech Rep.)

Hey, thanks for the input, I checked it out and seems as though people are going, but no idea as to when/where they're all meeting up. I was planning on being in France for a language immersion program for July, but I completely forgot about the running of the bulls, so I'll push that down to August. I know I want to go around Spain and Germany with stops in Prague, Budapest, Lisbon, Brussels, and London. I'll be in Italy for 3 months doing a study abroad program if anyone wants to meet up on the weekends. That would be cool.
aim me: asummerberry if interested in getting a few beers!

You guys are right... with so many little TP's running around all over the world this summer, i was racking my brain last night in bed, trying to think of an idea. Some kind of TP Registry, where you can check up who is in a particular area at a particular time. In theory im sure its a great idea, but just not real practical.
Ahwell, it was just a dream...
Happy trails ppls...

Chickie,
I fly out this Friday for Greece, then onto Italy and continure wandering around Europe for a few months. Not sure when you're going but i'm thinking I'll hit Italy around the middle of March. I'm always up for a few beers.
Leeroy, a TP Registry is a brilliant idea. Surely it can't be that hard to implement...TP - can it be done without much trouble? Maybe even as simple as a new message area where we can post our current location so others can see where we're at?
Just throwing out ideas....

Cliffo,
I'm not flying out til the end of March, but if you're still around, I'm studying in Perugia but probably going down to Rome or Florence for the weekends.
Have a good flight! (last time I was on a plane, someone stole my aisle seat and then continued to snore for the 9 hour flight!)
I think a register is a great idea, a great way for everyone to meet up and a good reason for beers all around!

Is it pretty easy to get access to the internet at most hostels? If so, I think a registry would be great, people could just post what hostel they're at and approximately how long they plan to be in the area. It would make meeting up much easier.
Then again, we can always leave post-it notes all over town
