Default Cubs Tickets...

Anyone in and around Chicago happen to have access to cubs tickets for the Aug 1st game in Wrigley vs Pittsburgh? We're currently looking for a decent deal because tickets are going for $100 for shite seats.

Will pay over face if needed, but this will be my first time to Wrigley, and not a huge fan. But want to experience the nostalgia. I only need two, possibly three if you have them.

Thanks!

get on the platform of the red line Addison St. stop! you can watch for free from there!

you might be able to find something cheap gameday. we were in the same pickle one time then found seats for $30 same day outside Wrigley.

haha. My buddy Luke lives 3 houses from Wrigley. So thats where I'll be staying 2 days prior too. I'll have plenty of time to find some, but I like to score tickets early.

I can't believe how expensive this game is. It's sold out, against a mediocre team, and the rest of the series isn't sold out. I don't know whats so special about a game on Friday afternoon, but the Saturday/Sunday games are not sold out. I'm cornfused.

Try Chicago craigslist....current offers are $80 per ticket, for decent seats.

If you put in a request someone might go cheaper than the scalpers.

yeah i usually get tickets online for 70-80 bucks - typically bleacher seats which are my favorite.

Yeah we've been hunting through Craigslist. It's always tough to tell which are good, because half of them are just adverts for brokers.

Yeah, we're looking for bleacher seats anyway. And I'll be on Kenmore, 3 houses away from Wrigley so I'll be down there 2 days prior to, to see if I can't score any closer to gametime.
