I am off to the Dominican for two months. Leaving on the 26th of January and staying for a little over two months. I am so excited! Anyway, the town I am staying in is called Sosua, it's a little beach town just outside of Puerto Plata. I realize this isn't really a backpackers destination, but if anyone is headed to this way for a vacation or holiday, let me know!!

My dad is looking at buying a bar in the DR. He is sending me down for two long hard months of "research"

If he does buy the place we are currently interested in, he will send me down to run the bar for a year at least...I love sunny places so it's all good to me.

I am getting excited, even though I still have a week before I leave. I have to pack, still have to buy some stuff, clean my room, get up to visit my mom....there is a lot of planning that goes into a trip like this!

If all goes well, then I will be living in the Dominican for a year and running this bar for my Dad. Well...at least a year. I could end up staying as long as I want.
