Anywhere from 800 to 2,000 ($ in US). Depends on if you want to stay with a family or in a hotel. Or if you want group or private lessons. It also matters what city you want to be in. I don't know anything about any cities, so I'm stuck. I might take this course called Maestro. Its for teachers. I teach 2nd grade in Florida and most of my kids are Ricans and their parents don't speak English. It very frusterating, so I will probablytake that course ($1,200). There is also one that combines surfing and Spanish. I don't know how to surf, but don't want to look stupid trying to learn in front of a bunch of hot surfer guys who probably know how
From what I hear, the attraction to Costa Rica is the nature instead of the culture. I don't want to sign up for 4 weeks of Spanish school without hearing anything about it from people who have been there (not the testimonies on the school's website, either.)
