Default Tip on money in Cuba

My boyfriend's brother has just been to Cuba, and here's a small tip that might help out quite a few: when going into Cuba, bring Euros, not US Dollars as there's a 10 or 15% charge upon exchaging it to Pesos.

That's quite a sum...

Actually I was just talking to him and he told me it's much better if you bring Canadian Dollars. This is because their coin is "stronger" than the USDollar just so they can say it is stronger. So all of you who can, take Canadian Dollars, otherwise just take Euros.

Remember that Cubans have their own currency and a completely different one (close to the Euro) just for tourists.... but if you have the possibility, have Can Dollars with ya!
