If anyone is looking at checking out Vancouver this summer and has an interest in hiking you should check out The Grouse Grind.

Its a good hike, but gets pretty tough at some points so being in decent shape is highly reccomended! You may be hating yourself when you get to the half way marker but making the mountain summit makes it all worth while!!!

From the top of Grouse Mountian you can see all the way to Washington State and Vancouver Island. Fantasitc view!!! There is also a great bar at the top and the only thing that makes the veiw better is having a cold beer with some good food!

For people not interested in the hike there is also a gondola you can take up. It is a bit pricey and runs you $25 for going up and down. Again, its worth it just for the view!

Then there's always the West Coast Trail. That's in/by Vancouver too isn't it? Real difficult though...unless I'm confused and these are the same thing.

The West Coast Trail is suppose to be pretty hard. I think it also takes a few days to complete and you also have to reserve your time for going on it. I've never done it but I know a few people who have and its suppose to be an unreal exp.

Its actually on Vancouver Island, and I think goes pretty much all the way to the north point of the island. Not 100% sure of that tho.

Here's the link:

Wow, awesome photo, Columbia. I have wanted to hike the Inca Trail for quite some time. We should have an official Inca Trail TP Hike...

Now, if someone had told me Columbia just posted a pic of a face, I'd have thought she was finally getting around to sending her pic to TP for the Boards. Buuuuuuuut, nOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So, if we did try to organize a TP Hike, what do people think of the choices below:

1. GO ALL THE WAY! Do the Inca Trail in Peru.
2. A LITTLE LESS WILD Do something in England, like urOzm8's hikes in Cornwall
3. KEEP IT AT HOME Hike somewhere here in the states or Canada, like out west in a Natl Park, or in the Smokies or Appalachian Trail
4. Your other suggestions...

Let me know...

I'd like to chose number 1...but I wouldn't be able to pull off a trip like that for atleast another year
