hello folks.

im going tio be camping in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in California, for about a week or two. well, i COULD be camping there, there are a few other places im talking to another member about, but this one looks good.

besides a few obvious guidelines and tips (lots of water, hat, stay cool, watch out for spiders/scorpions/snakes, dont get lost), does anyone have any advice for camping on the desert floor?

don't eat the sand

Put a good thick tarp under your tent - desert sand can kill a tent!

Yeah. Don't get bit.

Um no but seriously the desert floor is freakin cold so make sure you have a good pad. And personally i would recommend Joshua Tree.
