well, anthon and i just got back from camping on Sequim Bay over the week-end with about 7 other friends of ours. this time of year has the lowest tides, so the tidepooling was amazing! we went out yesterday and today. we saw massive star fish and crabs and every type of clam or oyster you could imagine. it was awesome. definetly a great week-end. we also went to the top of Hurricane Ridge to take in 180 degree views of the Olympic Mountains.
all and all a great week-end with lots of laughing and drinking around the fire. gotta love The Great Northwest!!
*we'll post pictures later.

Its when the tide goes down really low exposing the ocean floor and many aquatic creatures are standed in small pools of water until the tide goes back up - its a good opportunity to see lots of stuff - very cool!

Very cool! Got to experience something similar off the coast of Ireland, but there were no starfish nor crabs... just seaweed. Looking forward to the pictures.
