Hi guys. I found some swimfins that I can cram into my carry-on luggage...

http://www.aquasphereusa.com/products/zip_fin_blue.html

They only extend 4" beyond the toe though, so I'm not sure how effective they'll be. Plus, they have my 49L bag pushing it's limits, although I'm still at only 25 pounds! Are they worth taking to Thailand, or will they be so craptastic that I shouldn't waste my time with them and just get some real fins once I get there.

Wait....you eat street food in Thailand but bring your own mouthpiece for your snorkel? For real??

BTW @dam - make sure you try some of the fried insects they whip up late at night on the sidewalk. The crickets are especially tasty. The grubs...well...not so much.

I love horrifying other westerners when I am there by crunching down on a cricket or two...great fun! Why are people so damn squeamish??
