Default Sleeping bag/pad recommendations

Hey guys,

I've been scouring the net looking for a sleeping bag/pad to take with me on my trip to Europe/OZ. I'm looking for something super lightweight, doesn't have to withstand really cold temps either since I will be travelling in the summer-- I'm thinkin a 30-40 degree bag is plenty. What do you guys recommend?

Cheers,

Nick

do a search of the forums and look in the section on budget camping gear. and tell us what a bit about yourself
like what part of the world are you from so who knows to answer the question.

i dont know if you are shopping in the us or in the uk. if you are in the us I would tell can help you. go to a rei look at the summer weight bags and bag liners and get a compression sack. if you are in the uk let one of our uk punks chime in

Also keep in mind that Europe and Oz share different summers... I'm in Aus right now and it's not warm and very rainy... plus they have no central heating and poor insulation so it makes everything that much colder.

I will be travelling in Europe this summer and then when it gets cold, I'll be headed to OZ so this year will be a "perpetual summer". ;]

Also, I am in the US. Does anybody have a brand or model they can recommend?
