Smart Traveler's Passport
 

So I don't know if this really falls under "budget travel gear," but it does for me...

Anyway, last night I picked up this book called The Smart Traveler's Passport - it's not so much a guidebook but a collection of hundreds of little tips from the readers of Budget Travel magazine.

It's not all super unique & mindblowing - you can find a lot of the same advice right here on the TPunk boards with a bit of a search... But it's pretty cool to have all sorts of info like this compiled in one place. I'm actually, umm, using it as a bathroom reader. So I can fantasize about my flights of fancy while I'm droppin' a deuce.
