I don't have it, looks like a good pack, I like the security/rain cover/duffel that it has, 69L is a good size as well. I saw prices from 210.00 to 225$ is that what your goingto pay for it?? Or are you getting a better deal? How much shopping around did ya do??? what others did ya look at?

CC, can you go to your local REI store (if you have one) and try it on first? Or, any sporting good store with similar backpacks that you can also tryout.

REI makes great products! I grew up in Seattle and that is the premier outdoors store. Added to that, Eagle Creek is a top quality brand too.

For sure it'll last long, and for sure you're going to get your moneys worth.

The question is, is it the perfect pack for you and will you be unequivocally happy with it? Only you will know that answer after you have strapped it on .

Look at Moc, she has like, 8(?) backpacks, And I think that they're all good!

Thanks guys, on second thought i decided to go down to the city and try out a sporting goods store (i live up in the mountains so the city is a drive). Was anxious to get the pack to keep the ball rolling i s'pose but it's in my best interest to shop around a bit at the stores. Like you said, you've got no idea until you have it on your back.

Went to REI for my pack, and the salesgirl recommended that I get an Eaglecreek, I have the transcontinental one, and I love it, it's just like a suitcase, but with a daypack and everything. Plus, the straps zip up.
