What pack do you use?

This thread has probably already been done... But I cant find it, so i'll start a new one. What kind of pack do you guys use? (brand name, size etc)

i use rei gemini it is 50 liters, it isnt huge but if you travel light it is plenty



it actually can pass as a carry on if the attendant is busy

and i keep my ibook in one of these

I use the Lowe ALpine Alpamayo 70. It's 4300 cubic inches. Is that too big?

I have a pretty small pack - L.L Bean's Mountain Guide...and I don't remember how many cubic inches it is, hah, but I'm thinking it might even be as small as 2500. If not then it's the 3500.

Dana Design's Swift Traveler, thanks to all the advice from thsi forum. Great pack. 4300cf, huge pack if you want it to be, nice and slim if you choose.

I used an L.L. Bean pack to Europe for several week trips. It was the continental rucksack about 2500cu in.
It's not a comfortable backpack though so I'm considering buying a Granit Gear Virga.
It's also about 2500ci.

Does anyone have something comfortable to sell in this size for under $80?

At the moment I'm my Bpack is an Element Mohave
20"h x 12"w x 9"d.

But I'm planning on getting a new one over the 42nd once I get back home!
