hi,
first... i cant seem to post this in the quick help section... it says i am not logged in... but me thinks me is. anyway...
i am taking off on tuesday for new zealand and australia and have a free stopover on fiji (arrive in nadi). i was super stoked on this option at first and booked my stay for 6 nights, however, now i have people telling me that fiji sucks.
is this true? how can an island paradise suck? and, is it cheap or just totally expensive. i arranged to stay at beaccomber island for the first 3 nigts... but this place certainy is not the budget accomodation i had planned for. sounds serene and beautiful... but are there any suggestions (help) on what islands are close to the nadi port that are ok priced... or is there a cool part of the main island that is cheap cheap cheap... but cool cool cool.
i would appreciate any advice and look forward to some of the wit that pops up in these forums as well... even if i am totally screwed on the island.... a little comic relief will go a long way.
