In Cairns, one good place to stay is Caravella 77. Rates are average but the staff is very friendly and helpful, the place clean and spacious and you get free dinner at a nearby restaurant every night you stay. The ambiance was fun and relaxed, too.
Now here´s an example of great customer service! Even though rates are average, they give you a FREE dinner (at a local restaurant), offer a great clean and spacious enviroment, and they close the deal with a very friendly and helpful staff(think most STARBUCKS employees)!
