I have multiple chinese visas in my passport and have frequently traveled to Taiwan with no issues (for work). You will have absolutely no problem. In that regard, Taiwanese people travel to China with no problems at all. (Okay, the border guards are a little rude to them sometimes, but that's the extent of it). Many Taiwanese work in China, own companies in China, etc. - so there is a lot of travel back and forth by Taiwanese. Chinese of course are much more limited as to where they can go.
The only barrier to travel between Taiwan and China is that there are currently no non-stop air flights between the mainland and Taiwan. You must fly from Taiwan to Hong Kong, and from there can either fly to a mainland city or travel via train or bus into China. This was relaxed during the previous Chinese new year holiday in which they allowed direct air flights from Taipei to certain Chinese cities, but I beleive that presently you can not do this. Enjoy the trip!
