To joanofarc and others travelling to Thailand and Asia - dont forget toilet paper!!! (Im taking tissues in the small travel pack)

A workmate was telling me that they dont use it. In public toilets they have a thing that sprays water up the butt! Apparently there is water all over the place. Great!

they're not like the french bidets... more like a hose coming out the side of the wall... you can easily control where the water goes - but i don't use the butt sprayer anyway... you're totally right about the toilet paper - i bring charmin rolls - 5 rolls for my 3 week trip - i'm actually thinkning of bringing a few more...

interestingly - i was just reading online that - well maybe you knew the thais are really offended by the soles of feet - they're considered the dirtiest part of the body - read this guys thai toilets tip - yuk! asian toilets don't really bother me - i say yuk because i had no idea the natives stood bare-footed in there

hi
That website is very useful for people from different place. You may get that experience in the rural area or the village. But in my house you can get everything you need to cleanup.
