There's 3 of us going out to Thailand in mid-October for two months and I have a few quetions/queries that I would like some advice on please?

We are looking to go up to Chang Mai to do a Jungle Trek but I have to admit i'm carrying a few pounds (cough) and out of shape! Is it viable for us still to do one?? As I really, really do want to do this before we go down to the Islands!!

Is Koh Samui really as bad as everyone makes out? For you Brits on here, I have heard it being described as the Benidorm of Thailand?

Do I need to book accomodation in advance for the Full Moon parties? I have been given a name of a place on Koh Phangan but quite fancy doing the trip over by speedboat from Koh Samui for the FMP as I hear the view is sensational?

What are the average temperatures for October/November and does it vary from North to South Thailand etc.? Remember i'm a pasty white Englishman!!

I'm sure they'll be others as these get answered!!
