Default *****What's your cities WORD??******

So i've been reading this book called Eat, Pray, Love by Liz Gilbert. It's about a woman who takes off to experience Italy, India, and Indonesia. There's an interesting part where she talks about every city in the world have "a word" that really describes the feel of it. If your personal word doesn't match your cities word, maybe you aren't living in the right city.

Her examples:
Rome is SEX
LA is SUCCESS
New York is ACHIEVE
Stockholm is COMFORM

Which makes me wonder....what is your cities word? In my quest to find paradise and a potential new home, i ask you to share what you think is the word of your city. maybe it will match with mine?

Canberra is ARTIFICIAL
Sad but true. Well, according to most people. For me it is HOME
Why is stockholm CONFORM? I guess I dont really know anything about that city...
Oh, and are you going to share yours?!?!! Oh wait, I get it... you want to see if someone names a city that has your personal word. Well, I'm guessing Canberra isn't the place for you.....
Very interesting idea... now I need to think of my personal word... hmmm....

The word that best describes my city - Bathurst, NSW, Australia - would definately be YOBBO!! Or bogan. Whichever you feel more comfortable with.

Brunswick-Retirement/Historical.

On the grass field along Maine street is a gazebo. Along the other side is a row of historical homes. Up the street the famous poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow lived across from Bowdoin College. Joshua Chamberlain the Civil War General built a one story house under Wadsworth's.

It's appeared in the top ten U.S. cities to retire a couple of times.
There are very good health care facilities.

Joshua's Tavern is about the best nightlife .

I dont think that any city CAN be seek or experience, because those arent really "solid" words, as in the fact that if an entire city were trying to do all of those things, it wouldnt be much of a city because everyone would be gone, comprendez vous?

london - expensive (my home - it was a toss up between expensive and divided. london seems to be a diverse city but if you live here its really divided and segregated.)

kuala lumpur - diverse (my second home - i like the way you can find anything in this city - slums, chinese architecture, mosques, skyscrapers, clubs, indian temples)
