describing that...feeling
so I was at work and bored so I decided to do some writing about my 6 weeks working/living in China. I started writing about how I felt as a traveler going to a new country you know that feeling you get when you're there? This is what I came up with
"standing in Beijing airport-I felt like I had truly achieved something ,I was a king. It’s a feeling that only a fellow traveler can really understand standing there on the edge facing the unknown the rush of excitement coursing through your veins starting at your stomach and reaching your head making you realize that this isn’t a dream-you’ve really done it and you’re really here…the unknown."
Yeah, OK my writing sucks but I am taking a course so I will get better!
So how do you guys feel when you arrive at a new destination?
