1) The Independente Hostel and Suites, Lisbon Portugal
There is overwhelming agreement that The Independente is one of the most luxurious hostels in Lisbon with its vintage designs and original architecture. The location is less than a five minute walk away from the Barrio district with prices starting from $21 for a 12 bed dorm. A great option if you’re backpacking Lisbon. The hostel groups nine people to each dorm with large in-room lockers for each guest and access to a lounge area. You can also book one of their four special private suites! 2) Dublin Citi Hotel, Dublin, Ireland
Okay, it’s not a hostel but a hotel but this property is constantly given high ratings and it’s located next door to the Central Bank on the edge of Temple Bar, and viewing distance of Trinity College. It has comfortable accommodations and good food with a relaxing and cosmopolitan environment. It is located on Dame Street; just two minutes walk from Grafton Street, Stephens Green, and the main business districts.
Prices start off around $40 which is pretty good for budget travelers and backpackers heading to Dublin. It’s also got 3 bars, a nightclub, and a gym.
Oh, and yeah it’s free admission for Residents to ‘Fever’ nightclub every night is a nice incentive.

3) Plus Berlin, Berlin Germany
With prices starting from $15 and up, this hostel is very near the S-Bahn Station which puts all of the sights of Berlin at your fingertips, which is great if you’re backpacking Berlin. With an indoor pool and sauna, free yoga, and bar you may end up spending more time indoors then you had originally planned! Rooms start with six bunks per room (with private locker and Wi-Fi) up to private suites for those who are seeking privacy. No curfew

4) Euro Youth Hotel and Krone, Bad Gastein, Austria
With prices starting from $11 and spectacular views of the mountain and close location to both Hot Springs Spa and paragliding services, this hostel may be cheap but it isn’t run-down. There are twelve beds to each dorm, and each come equipped with a large private locker for each guest. This hostel also has an extensive beer cellar and their bar stocks beers from Austria and Bavaria. No curfew

5) Melting Pot Rome, Rome, Italy
This is a great option if you’re on a tight budget and backpacking Italy and swinging by Rome. Prices start at $23 for a bed in 6-bed dorms. Free maps are given, no curfew, and a multilingual staff. It’s walking distance to the metro, bus lines, trams, and is surrounded by budget restaurants, souvenir shops, bars, cafes and pubs. This air conditioned no frills hostel is a great option that is highly rated for those on a tight budget.

6) Las Musas Hostel, Madrid, Spain
This hostel is highly rated and recommended if you’re backpacking Madrid. They have a friendly staff and great facilities which makes them an awesome choice if you want to be staying in the heart of Madrid.
They are a few minutes walking from all the main attractions in Madrid such as Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and the world-famous ‘Golden Triangle’ of art museums – The Thyssen, The Prado, and The Reina Sofia. Also close to Malasaña, Fuencarral, Plaza de España, Gran Via, Callao, and Chueca, all areas that the locals frequent and party.

7) The Pink Palace, Corfu Greece
If you’re backpacking Greece and Corfu is on your list, this beach location hostel is by far the most popular hostel in Corfu, Greece. It is party central and famous among backpackers and budget travelers looking for a great memorable time. It overlooks Agios Gordios beach, so jumping into the pristine water will be a cinch. You receive free breakfast, common use Jacuzzi and free transportation to Corfu Town, so prices from 13 dollar price off season and $27 during the summer months for 5 bad dorms seems like a steal! 8) The Mosaic House, Prague, Czech Republic
From $6 a night off season and starting at $18-$22 for bed in mixed dorms during summer months…need we say more? This hostel is charming, and mainly used by backpackers with a funky bar and a location that is not far from the Charles Bridge. It’s located centrally in downtown Prague and is non-smoking. You can choose to sleep with 18 beds in your dorm (lockers, Wi-Fi) to having a private suite! No curfew
It’s won Trip Advisor 2014 Award for Excellence and has a music bar and lounge on the ground floor.

Located 250 meters from the fun and vibrant Latin Quarter. Backpackers in Paris who want to stay in a great location should highly consider staying here. The rooms are known to be impeccable, well designed and very comfortable. They all have showers, toilets and air conditioning. Here we have the vast majority of rooms for 4 people. Friendly and international staff.
This hostel is the first design hostel considered the most beautiful one in the world (by The Guardian).

10) Equity Point Centric, Barcelona, Spain
This hostel is located smack in the center of Barcelona and just a step away from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas. As far as cheap hostels in Barcelona are concerned, this is a great option. They have a huge bar a big common room to meet tons of people.
This is another hostel with high ratings and reviews. Breakfast is offered for 1.5 euros.
