Working in a "cultural" district, bordered by a large art school, several other universities, and tons of "artists" of all ilk, I get some interesting requests. The latest I've heard: pescho-vegan. Eats fish products, but no other animal proteins. I guess we're allowed to make up whatever we want now?

To paraphrase Denis Leary: "If meat is murder, then good. Cause murder tastes damned good!"

The weekend was fine. I sustained on about a thousand pounds of trail mix peppered with dried up fruit and an egg white omelette or two. Whatever.

And oh my, but I love denis leary. Thanks for that. That justifies my cheese intake.

ust out of curiousity, any other tpunkers here vegans or vegetarians? Anyone have any meal ideas (we're quickly getting sick of tofu and salads, lol).[/b]
Speaking as one of the omnivore crowd, I'll say that I practically became a temporary vegetarian (not vegan) when we traveled Europe. Though my intestinal tract has been forged in the boilers of some pretty nasty kitchen, I'd heard far too many stories of people falling ill from the sheer power of Eastern/Central European Meat (which, Ironically, is what my wife did last night [ba-dum *crash*]....sorry. )

Though, as always my $0.03 (I adjust for inflation periodically) is too late, best of luck!
