So one of my many jobs is being a glorified desk clerk at place on campus called the Family Resource Center. It's a place where families and singles can come and hangout, shoot pool, play ping pong, use the computers, and attend programs for children and adults. Most of the people who attend are internationals learning English or attending University classes.
So anyway the point of this is that there are cooking classes and parties thrown and there is always new and great food to try! Like take tonight for example. A group of Saudi men are celebrating someone graduating from the university. They have brought tea spiced with ginger, a noodle dish, and yummy desserts, all of which they have bestowed on me. They are always pleasent and everytime they throw a get together they offer us desk clerks food!
So just a hout out saying I LOVER INTERNATIOANL FOOD! :D
Man I love my job. I just finish writing this and they give me more swwets to take home! What cool people!

Yes the Baklava was great! I see and deal with a lot of middle eastern people and they are always very nice and polite. It really opens the eyes and helps get rid of the sterotypes.

Yeah the greek know how to do banging pastry, but I have no clue why I alwaqys finish up eating colombian food? I don't like any of that stuff by itself but when I find a place with a Bandeja Tipica Colombiana, I simply go for it (Ok I do leave out the pork & eggs). Oh and the Chicha Peruana owns made with the real purple peruvian corn, or the Chicha Andina (made out of rice with soy milk) And the thing I adore from Ven. Cachapas! not the Corn Arepas. Oh and the cheese Chile pies rock! the rest of Empanadas, pupusas & arepas are overrated! Naw foe each it's own!
