Well Id have to say two of my favorite things of all time are drinking and music and both are better when combined. Different people like different kinds when drinking some like it upbeat some like it slow and depressing, Im the latter. Just wondering what everyone likes when they are settling in with the bottle..

My list would go something like....
1. George Jones- If drinking dont kill me-Wild Irish rose-Wine colored roses-finally friiday-Yesterdays wine-the bottle in my hand--tennessee whiskiy-Ithrew away the rose ( He is the king of the drinking song)
2.Willie Nelson-Rainbow Connection
3,Clapton-Wonderful Tonight
4. john Anderson- Straight tequila night
5. Jim Croce- A long time ago
6. Van Morrison- It stoned me
7. Don Mclean- Castles in the air
8. Johnny Cash_ Sunday Morning Sidewalk
9.Finger Eleven-Bones and Joints
10-Keith whitley- When you say nothing at all

Probably many more but i dont want to ramble.. so Ill just hav a drink and listen to some of these

Great list KyleJ,

Personally, I don't have any specific type of music. I can listen to almost anything. But that music will set the mood. Although I usually do prefer slower more laid back music. Although some jazzy type music is good sometimes. yeah.

I love irish folk music too when i;m drunk. Half the time I don't even know what's playing or what i'm dancing too. but it totally has to be loud and danceable (if that's a word!?)

Beware though If I'm at a Top 40 club. I don't stop dancing if i;m drunk. I dance on the stage, on the bar, on a guys lap . Heck I'm a dancing queen! Isn't that a song? :D

Very nice moc! I went to see the doors last summer (minus jim) with the guy from the clash on vocals. Had tons of fun.

Drinking songs... Sublime definatly! When I'm out at clubs I like NERD kind funky stuff... and I love to get drunk and dance! But I dont like dancing with guys... maybe salsa... but other than that guys get to grabby for my taste.

when I'm out dancing I want to dance... not have sex!

Beady I love Ben Folds Five!!!
But, my choices are for drinking:
-andrew WK - party hard
-i can't remember the artist but the song is called "HipHopper" . Its sweet!
BUT the ultimate is:
-the entire Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels soundtrack. My friends and I get together and drink in my buddy's basement, and listen to this CD over and over...its so damn good
