Up here in the North East we have a lot of little small pizza places. There is a great place near me called Peter's Pizza run by a Greek family.

While I was traveling the best Pizza I had was in Croatia in Hvar. I don't remember the name of the place but it was a nice family run place in the main square. The pizza was amazing. Also the atmosphere was great, and the owner was so proud of his restaurant.

I THINK YOU ARE ALL WRONG. the best pizza place in the world is my Nonnas House.

OMG. just about the best pizza you will ever taste. home made bases, how you like it, thin and crispy or dowy, or stuffed with cheese, or ricotta, or sundreied tomatoes. with home made tomatoe paste, rich with herbs and garlic. the toppings are always elaborate, like ricotta or bocconcini with mozzerella and paremsan for cheese. calamata olives, oven backed capsicum and fresh basil, spicy peperroni or pursuito, italian sausage or cabanosy. fresh mushrooms and herbs, topped with a swig of pure olive oil. anything you want in it, she will do it. if ever you are in Australia. or in Sicily, either my Nonna or her sisters will be happy to make a pizza or two
