Germany-sausage and potatos can't really argue. Unless you're vegitarian.

I'm really missing the Turkish doners that are available at all the street corners in Germany, at all hours of the night.

Do ye not have doner kebabs in the US?! Their class, excelent drunk food but Germany does have the best ones. The ones you get here in Ireland have misserable bits of bread around them. The ones in snack point charlie (I thought that was an awful funny name) beside check point charlie where really good, big lump o bread.

I loved the lovely fresh homemade soap in czech.

No doner kebabs in the US. However, in larger cities with a good ethnic population, you'll find the occasional shawarma/falafel joint - some of which are actually VERY good, but they're fancier and less street/drunk food than what you'd find in Europe or Oz.

India has really great food, not just Indian, but they also have their own take on Chinese/Thai...god bless the Hakka Noodle!

As for the soap, too foamy for my tastes.

Thai food (in Thailand) is tough to beat. Real mexican food is pretty damn good too. I have a thing for spicy, flavorful food. Nowadays, basic European style foods don't really do much for me. I used to love Italian food, but now I can take it or leave it. It all seems kind of the same.
