Are all bars in Europe 18 and over?

Well, from experience of when I have been on holidays with my parents, the bars kinda let anyone in!

Not the case in all places I'm sure, but in lots of places in Spain and Greece, I was in there drinking at 14/15, no questions asked.

I can't believe I did that though, I'd be well pissed off if I had a 14 year old daughter going out getting drunk like that!

It really depends where you go, in the UK most places are 18 and some are 21, but it depends where exactly you go as to how strict they are with ID. If you head over to Sweden (and maybe the rest of Scandanavia?), you have to be 23 to get into a decent bar, although they let me in (being 21) after a quick chat with the bouncer about football, pretending to support his favourite british team.

In roughly seven months of travelling Europe I didn't get asked for ID once so you shouldn't have any troubles getting in.

Funnily enough, just before I left London to come home I was getting some supermarket beers and got asked for the first time.
