hey eurochick,

the nz club scene isnt all that bangin' because the population is small. however pubs/clubs basically do the same job as clubs(late opening/dj's etc..) ideas though-

-globe bar(auckland) -possibly backpackers paradise
-holycow (taupo)
-queenstown (the whole town practically)
-minus 5 (auckland or q/town)-a bar made of ice! recommended but you have to pay a bit
-dunedin;uni city-good nightlife

-hope that helps
enjoy

I've never been myself, but I have a number of kiwi friends... If you can find a house party somehow, do it... Seems like thats where the fun shit goes down. One of my friends told me about a bar his friend works at somewhere on south island.. Apparently there is an entire room at the back set aside solely for staff to shag customers.

Ewwwwwwwwwww. That is so wrong! If you do go clubbing in NZ, DON'T SHAG THE BAR STAFF!! I'm from Wellington, definately a unique night life in NZ!! If you come to Wellys, juust go to Courtenay Place, all the mad spots are down there
