Tech/Rave Clubs in Europe

I will be going to Zurich, Verona, Nice, Paris, London and Amsterdam as well as a few others along the way and I was wondering if there are any good rave/techno clubs around these parts? I've always wanted to go to a good rave.

Raves != clubs.

Actual raves tend to be hard to find if they even exist anymore, though some take place in the summertime in Amsterdam and surrounding areas. Keep your eyes peeled. They're more electronic festivals, but some people still like to call 'em raves.

Otherwise, there are LOADS of techno clubs in most cities in Europe. Are you looking for any one particular genre? Simply check the nightlife listings for each city... hint: Google "_cityname_ nightlife" and you'll run into all sorts of listings.

London is pretty simple - ask anyone where Fabric, Turnmills, Ministry of Sound, Cargo, etc. are. You'll find similar clubs everywhere. If you want something a little more underground, check out the DJ record stores in each town.

When i was in Rome in March of '03 we stumbled (literally, it was pretty late) onto a rave at the National Museum. It was amazing. It was held in the main hall, the DJ was up on scaffolding and lasers were reflecting off of all the marble and granite. It was pretty intense.

In Paris I would have to say La Locomotive and Regine's other than that, I really don't remember much.
