A friend and myself are making a EuroPilgrimage this summer. We are most especially looking forward to the Runnning of the Bulls in Pamplona.
There was a post for last year's Running, bu this year I haven't seen one.
So here goes:
who will be attending this year's San Fermines in Spain?

I wont be there and I envy you Matt!! You'll have a blast man. A group of us Tpunkers met there last year so if you need any info about getting shitfaced, sleeping in the park/bank doorways or actually running with the bulls you've come to the right place!

after I posted that I thought I'd put my money where my mouth is and book one, but there are no hostels to be had! Hotels started a ninety quid! I guess I'm just going to have to go with some really good friends and warm clothes and stick it out.. I looked for 45 minutes...

Yer a beeeeotch if you don't sleep in the park and/or the entrance to a bank. If you are in Pamplona and have a shower per day while there, you suck and should be shot.
Though those are just my personal thoughts, I think there are a few people on this site who might agree.

for those who cant find anything in pamplona i have booked a place called Meson Del Barro. it came out to about 57 US dollars per night per person. its just a 10 minute bus ride into the heart of the city. it is 3 night minimum though. since i am going with two people (3 of us) i got the cheapest rate. 3 beds with shared bathroom.
if interested check it out

come on people sleep rough, it was a great laugh. just find as many people as you can and find a nice cozy doorway don't worry there were tones of people sleeping in the park, and it's free. plus the partys are on almost all night, i would recomend only doing it for a couple of nights if sleeping rough, i tell you you will appreciate a shity hostel bed after that

Ok i am nervous about running with the bulls. I cannot go to the festival without running though, that would be a regret. Can anyone that has actually ran give a play by play or something? If you get tired is there anywhere to hide lol. I read they block off the side streets so that means you have to run the whole length all the way to the stadium. I am not in shape at all. Ive also read that the drunken men are more dangerous than the bulls. I guess i already read everything i need to know but havent heard it from someone who ran.

I forgot whether it was TPunkers or others I was talking to in Barcelona just after last year's Running of the Bulls, but some of the people sleeping in the park got rolled - money, wallets, etc. knifed out of their pockets as they slept - so be careful!

I unfortunatly could not run due to a broken arm, but quite a few tpunkers did run so im sure they will be able to help you. i would definatly say from what i saw that the people are by far much more dangourus than the bulls, i think generaly you do not have to run the full length as the bulls normally run past most people.
