Anyone ever go to the tomato fight in Spain? I forget the city in which it takes place, but it sounds like a fun experience. I believe it is like the third week in August.

This year it takes place the last day in August (Typically the last wednesday of the month) in Bunol. I haven't been yet, I wanted desperately to go...but my planning made me cut Spain and save it for it's own separate trip. Seems like too much to try to cramp into a few days!

I have been to the tomato fight in bunol. And let me tell you it is amazing at that festival. 
there is so many people there just to have a great time, that it is awesome.
the tomato fight is a really good time. Its one thing you really want to get to see at least one time.
I was there in 2002.

that is just plain wild and crazy. after the tomato fight and after they clean the streets the guy says now the city is spic and spanish lol. i wonder if he knows what he just said .

hey is anyone going this year (2005)?
i am, have no accommodation planned though, not sure what im going to do, might pull an all nighter and party on, then head back somewhere to stay? i got a week in spain, wanna see madrid and barcelona too..
umm basically email me if ya gonna be about, would be fun to throw tomatoes at someone i knew the name of :P

i think people tend to stay in valencia and take an hour bus ride to bunol.
