where to party hard in spain?

I have been several times to barcelona and I'd like to discover new places where the nightlife is as strong as there and possibly at the same or lower prices..Do you have any advice??I'll be there in the new year's first days for a while..any1 hangin' out there in the same period??

Ibiza is a huge party city - lots of clubs and nightlife.

There's also Madrid and Valencia.

I heard Ibiza is the hardest party you will ever be at, but its ridiculously expensive! anybody else have more info on this or have been there before?
