Best European Beaches?
Hi all
I have just been putting the final touches to my trip and realised (with horror) that i don't have any beaches on my route
So can anyone recommend me some, preferably beaches im likely to meet other travellers, rather then 1400 holiday makers
My general route is starting in Rome and heading up through Austria/Czech/Poland/Germany (i know that they aren't the best places for finding a good beach ) although im willing to travel anywhere, i just cant go on a 2 month trip in the summer without somewhere sandy to sleep for at least a couple of days :D
Thanks

How about Budva, Montenegro? You can take a ferry from Bari to Bar

Im in Belgrade atm, this is my third day here and i feel really bad for saying it but i havn't enjoyed it very much. In fact i have cut my time here by a day to go upto Vienna
i think my main problem here is my hostel has lacked any English speakers (other then the staff) and its really tiny (10 beds total) so i have been on my own 90% of the time, the Serbian people are all insanely helpfull though, just after i got there i was looking at a map and a guy came and showed me the way to the hostel, and yesterday i asked a guy for directions to a club and he went about 10 min out of his way (he was waiting for a bus, i hope he didnt miss it) and actually walked me to within site of the entrance to it
but oh well, i have wombats booked up for tomorrow night

Nice move working some flexibility into your schedule so that you can leave early and check out somewhere new. Keep up with the updates, sounds like you're having a great time overall.

I hope you get chance to visit Budapest whilst your out there. Its the most underated city in Europe, there is soooo much to see there!

Agreed. I originally planned to stay 3 days, ended up staying 6 and still didn't get to do everything I wanted to.

Budapest is quite a large part of my trip actually
i am meeting up with a few other people who are travelling atm, a couple of freinds are flying out from England and meeting a girl i met in Slovenia. I think there will be about 10 of us total staying for 5 nights
it is going to be very strange to be in such a big group
