So two of us are going to Interlaken in early June and want a decent place to stay. We are leaning towards balmers. We want fun but we also want to get a decent night sleep and be able to canyon and whitewater raft in the daytime. Any suggestions?
I just booked Balmers, for early June as well. From what I hear Balmers is a pretty social place and maybe not so quiet. Funnyfarm is supposed to be awesome too, but maybe a little more low key. What are the dates that you will be in Interlaken? I should be showing up June 8th
Balmers is seen as the central nightlife of the town. My opinion, I didn't like Balmers. Most of the guests were annoying Americans and Canadians - not exactly what I was looking for in central Europe.
There is always stuff going on there tho. And anyone can go to the club at night, not just guests.
Looks like funnyfarm it is. After 2 1/2 weeks on the road we decided we will want something a little more on the low key side. A little rest and extreme sports seems like the best for us during that part of our trip. Janderson, we will be in Interlaken June 2 - 5. Looks like we will just miss you.
