HEy folks, I am in the Bull dog cafe right now typing this message to you. I checked into the Bull Dog Hostel this afternoon and I would have to say that between the newly renovated rooms, and the cheery girl at the desk, I would have to say that I would recommend this hostel. They offer drom rooms with up to 10 peps, to private apartment suites, at a very resonable price compared to a regualr hotel. You get a locker with your room and they provide you with a pad lock, each dorm room has 2 bathrooms with showers and its key card access to the room. There is a liunge where you can enjoy a toke or a drink and all along the same street there are BullDog establishments, about 5 of them, from bars to gift shops. The sevice from the staff i have encountered so far has been very postive and helpful, and its very close to EVERYTHING from the main street to the red light district. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would have to say an 8.

Thanks for the recommendation, bro! It´s nice to know that there are other great hostels in Adam aside from the Flying Pig(which I hear is also quite nice).

Isn't Amsterdam wonderful??? The people kick some serious ass! If you happen to have some extra loot and feel like getting all classy with yourself (that happened to me once, ONCE) Think about the 'Hotel Uptown' above "Rookies" and "Tankas" in Leidsplein-- titi will be waiting for you at the front desk. -- There is a bar on the same block called Pirates, a bit cheesey but, the bartenders wear fake parrots on their shoulders and patches on their eyes I mean, come on (pretend this ninja is a pirate)..arrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I would also say that the Bull Dog hotel is an excellant place to stay. The Free Breaksfast was a bonus. They also offer soap and shampoo also Free at the front Desk. Clean rooms and nice people Canadian Dude was right on. Be sure to visit Eric in the Basement of the Bull Dog Cafe for some of Amsterdams finest. The Bull Dog rock shop is also a nice place to visit.
FYI. When I stay at the Bull Dog Hotel I take the Hotel Shuttle Bus to the Hotel krosnopolski yeah my spelling suks too. But before you get to the krosnopolski have the bus driver drop you off at the Bull Dog. I have done this on 3 different trips. the driver always stopped and let me off. But on the return to the airport I would walk 5 min to the krosnopolski to take the shuttle back to the airport. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time.
I almost forgot, if you drink 10 Beers at the Bull Dog Cafe you get a Free T- shirt
