Thumbs up

I am leaving in 2 weeks so I'm working on booking my hostels now. I was planning on staying @ the Young and Happy Hostel in Latin Quarter. But, now that I read reviews I've heard a lot of mixed opinions of it. Almost everyone says that the location is great (which is awesome), but I've also heard that its dirty (even reports of bed bugs). But I have also heard that its really charming and nice and fun to stay at. Anyone heard of anything else or have any experiences w/it? Thanks!

hey kate,

I have never been there, but I haven't heard anything good about it other than it's cheap and the location is good. Almost everything I've heard about it from other travelers has been negative. But like I said, I've never been there. Maybe you should go and check it out for us!

Honestly, I have gone and checked around, and your right about the mixed reviews...I don't think I would take the chance...I would try somewhere else...

Why not 3 Ducks its in the Travelpunk top 10

Good Luck!

Yeah I dont think I am going to stay there. I figure if I have to think about bed bugs before I've even get on the plane, thats a problem enough. I was going to stay @ BVG or maybe do Lucky Youth.....still weighing my options. I have also thought about 3 Ducks, but I really would like to stay in Latin Quarter, that way I dont have to worry much about getting the metro or paying for expensive cabs.....as I definately plan on being out past midnight and am going to be extremely tight on cash it seems .
