Had a night in this hostel- good location close to coach station ( 5 mins walk) and train station ( 15 mins walk) . manchester is small enough to walk aroudn quite easily. Hostel called "Hatters" is located very near the Northern quarter so its quite arty and for fashion buffs.
Comfortable beds, clean kitchen and OK hot showers. 16 quid a night with one 1 £ extra if you need towels.
