Hi everyone,
Just stayed 3 days at the Rambla's Home in Barcelona, Spain. It was a tad overpriced for a hostel (30 euros), but the city is incredibly expensive and I didn't want to shell out $100 for a hotel. It wasn't a bad place, except that at night, they dead bolt the door at the bottom of the stairs. And the deadbolt needs a key to be opened from the inside. So, if there were a fire, and you didn't happen to sleep with your key, or couldn't find it in the smoke, you'd be downstairs pounding on the door trying to get out. And probably dead, too. I don't understand why Europeans don't understand basic common fire safety sense. That is nowhere near the first place that has happend to me. Just a warning. Like I said, the place wasn't bad otherwise... worldwidemike |
