So I came into some unexpected money (or will come into it this week), I'm completely out of credit card debt, and this mama is in need of a little R&R. I did just go to LA but that wasn't very relaxing because my mom was there and she wanted to see everything and we had a lot to do in a very short time.
I want to pass out on the beach and have a nice quiet long weekend, to be honest. It's much needed right now. I am considering San Diego because I did get a job offer out there last week for starting next August, on a permanent basis, so I want to go check it out and meet with them also.
So, does anyone have any recommendations for San Diego? Where to stay? My budget is a hostel unless I score something sweet on Hotwire or something. Ideally I would like something very quiet. I love the backpacker scene, but the hostel in Hollywood wore me out. Wondering if there's a cheap/low key B&B or something.
So, anything anyone might have would be much appreciated!
