So i had a little two day road trip to seattle. i haven't been to the states in a looooooooooong time. So here are my observations.
1.) They have guacamole potato chips!
2.) Everyone was sooooooo nice! seriously everyone from the shopkeepers to the bartenders to the denny's waitress. so freakin nice.
3.) Number 5 highway needs to get repaved cuz my ass is still bruised from the bumpiness of it.
4.)How many highways are there! geesh we circled seattle for about an hour until we finally got into downtown.
5.) pike place market is awesome!
6.)american guys like the "shaved head" look. army? mabye
7.) food food food ...so much amazing cafes/bakeries everywhere!
8.)everyone still smokes in bars/restaurents. ugh ewww it's banned here in British columbia. so i felt like i was sitting in an ashtray. ugh
anyways i had a blast. I felt this immense connection to TP. Since it's his hometown. baby i felt you around me.
on a side note TP. Thanx for the club suggestions. We tried going to Fenix Underground but the stupid bouncer wouldn't let us in cuz my friend is australian and he thought her queensland drivers license was fake. By that time we were already kinda drunk so we shouted "well we don't want to go into your stupid club anyways!" hehe. So we ended up at the hornfest frat party gone wrong place tiki bobs cantina. it was a meatmarket but it was so fun. For anyone heading to seattle fyi they had $1 dollar beers!!! $2 vodka mixes! omigod. and for the ladies if ya dance on the bar (like i did!) you get free shots and it's free cover for ladies on thurs. Watch out for the bartender though cuz when your dancing on the bar he brings out a leaf blower and turns it on so the wind pushes your shirt up so he can see your boobies. scandalous! haha
But anyhoo i would totally recommend seattle it's awesome. Lots of stuff to do, and an awesome nightlife. and i got drunk $15! it was great!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Baby, I was hovering all around you! Glad you felt me, cuz I felt you! Mmmm mmmm...
Too bad about the Fenix Underground ! That sucks! If I would have known that there would have been an entrance problem, I could have hooked you up. Sorry I didn't mention this earlier, but I honestly JUST remembered something (it's been eight years since I moved from Seatown).
I know the co-owner of that place. Way back when, his wife used to baby sit us. Their kids are my age and I grew up with them. In fact, one of the kids, owns a tiny tattoo shop right next door to the club! You may have seen it! I'm sure it's still there. Next time you go, let me know, and I'll tell you who to ask for and to tell him who recommended come see him He'll, be surprised, and as he's done with me and my parties, he should walk you right over, pass the bouncers, and there shouldn't be any problems (But, PM me first for instructions, though).
Good thing you ended up making the most of it at tiki bobs cantina. Sounds like a riot !
I hear you about the indoor smoking, that sucks ! That shit needs to change ASAP!
Glad you had a great time, Dio! Next time, do it on a weekend, it's much livelier! Hope to get back there soon for a weekend trip! I miss Seattle !
Thanks for the report!

Yeah the bouncer was so anal. He's like how do i know this place exists?! umm I told him he better study his atlas because queensland is a very big part of australia! Yeah i might be going again in a couple months. I'll tell ya though. thanx.

Dio, I just read on an article online that the building that housed the original Fenix Underground (that I used to frequent) was partially destroyed from that earth quake last year .
They relocated to their new location (that you saw). So, I don't know if my friend put up a tattoo shop next to the new one as he did with the old one. In any event, I'll find out before you go down again .
Did you try any other bars in Pioneer square(besides tiki bobs)?

Yah some guy told me that they just reopened the fenix underground. I thought it was in the same building though. We went to a weird bar called the oldtimers pub/bar. It was weird but they had $1 coronas..I'd stay at any place for those prices :P
