OK this post has been festering inside of me for quite some time. Simply put I hate phoenix arizona. Sir Ed Abbey called phoenix "an ugly oasis in the middle of a beautiful wasteland." I'll give him that the desert is a wasteland. Vast and boring. Phoenix (other than parts around ASU) has nothing to far in the way of anything. Just heat and more heat. The only time to hike or bike is at night and then its a bit on the dark side. There are no smashing awesome clubs or hell anything at all... Just the theatres and honestly I am actually getting sick of seeing american media.
Honestly I believe that the Greater Phoenix Valley should turn into americas junkyard/trash hole. It's kind of already like that since more old people move here than anywhere else in the country. The colorado river no longer reaches the pacific largely due to phoenix. They are on what they call a nine-year drought and yet somehow they havent figured out yet that THIS IS A DESERT!!! AND IT ISNT SUPPOSED TO RAIN HERE!!!
Ok thats the first part. Second part.
The so-called friends that I have here are by far the most fickle people I have ever met anywhere in my travels or life for that matter. Quite frankly they stink. The past week I have turned my cell phone and finally today I turned it on and decided to go see a movie with them for no other reason than being bored off my gourd. I went to see Without a Paddle (which sadly was a movie whose funny parts were contained in the trailer) and got shafted 15 bones. Not a good thing this close to take-off. After the movie the guy that says im his best friend refused to give me my change MAN ALIVE! Anyway there was a part in the movie where Burt Reynolds character told the three guys to stop wasting their time with meaningless pursuits and three of the people i was with turned and looked at me. I MEAN F*N ASSHOLES! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! I can not wait to get out of this city and never spend any considerable amount of time here again.
Sorry for this post but thanks for listening.
P.S. My family moved here because my dad has a rare syndrome and in chicago he was getting surface blood clots and he has a prosthetic leg so the dryness is good for the stump. My parents love it. Go figure.
