if anyone comes out to southern california, may i suggest you try an in-n-out burger. here's a link to their website: burgers. i'm not a huge hamburger fan, but when i want one this is where i go. they have a very small selection, but actually there are a lot of little secret things you can ask for/order that aren't on the menu. for example these little hot yellow peppers or "animal style" - see more here: funny!

Joan....have to agree with the good burgers, though I'm just about sick of them. I grew up with one down the street from my high school, and now I have one down the street from work, so I kind of over do it at times. Do have to say, whenI travel I do start craving there burgers after awhile and have to get one the second I come home...that and Mexican food...

i'm no major in-n-out fan or anything, i just had one of their cheeseburgers for dinner last night and i thought that i would love a suggestion like this for a region i was visiting, haha - plus with that weird christian thing they have going, it's kind of quirky too, which is always nice.

Its kind of cool, because In-and-Out started up in Baldwin Park, where I grew up, just east of east l.a., and so we used to eat at the original one...apparently, the Christian thing cameup after his son and wife took over, but I just like the burgers, protein style, with well done fries...

I don't eat them to often for that reason, so I won't over do it.

When I'm in SoCal, it's all about FATBURGER!! Sure, the name is a bit deceiving (supposedly they use the leanest meat of any chain), and the service is pretty slow, but I simply can't head down toward LA or Vegas without getting a Kingburger with egg (no pickles, no relish). MmMmmmm.. Ok, now I'm hungry!

Have to agree, Roscoe's...mmmmmmmm...chicken and waffles are a great combo....nothing beats a good Carne Asada burrito from La Parrilla on Sunset....especially after traveling through countries with no Mexican restaurants!

oh, no worries, caris. they don't super size anything at in-n-out, haha.
i haven't seen the film yet, but plan to. the idea of watching that guy have a colonoscopy is really rather appealing... maybe it's just me.

Johnny Rockets is good and so is Ruby Tuesdays, where you can get a real Cherry Coke. Here in So Cal my favorite fast food burger place is Bakers. Its like In N Out without the dedication to "health".
