i'm moving away to Long Island to spend some time there. not sure how long yet. but i have accomodation sorted etc. i've never been there before, and know nothing about it. anyone know much, is it worth haging out there or should i just go to the city most of the time?

Long Island is BIG - how often you'll end up in NYC depends heavily on exactly where you're residing.

It also has its own legendary traffic horror stories, especially during summertime but all in all it's a pretty nice suburban area.

Yeh i'm gonna be living in a place called Lynbrook which I think is near Long Beach?
