What to do in do in the Southeast?
A buddy and I are trying to make weekly tripos to random places to do random things. I go to school at Clemson in South Carolina. He is in North Carolina. If you live in the southeast, do you know of a cool ass thing to do in your state, aka underground caves, interantional bbq eating contest, base jumping, whatever. if its cool please post it!!!

If you got extra time on your hands. Head south to Savannah, Georgia. I've heard great things about the place, though I've never been.

I live in NC but my favorite place is Charleston, SC. I usually have the most fun there enjoying the historical aspect of it... other places of interest... world's largest chair in Thomasville... Uwharrie Mountains in central NC... Yadkin Valley Wine area... Pottery Capital of the World in Seagrove... I'm not sure any of these qualify as cool though.

I live in NC as well - there are a lot of great hiking opportunities (and rafting too) especially out by like Asheville, close to the TN border, in the Appalachians. Also lost of fun stuff to do on the coast if you like water sports, want to try sea kayaking, yada yada yada. I guess it depends on what you wanna do.
