i'm hoping to head back over to europe also after savin cash, should have a good amount by sept. but i know i'll be hittin up alot of places, but hopefully spend a good amount of time in holland then move on from there and spend alot of time in southern italy.
i suggest though that you take as much advantage of Italy as you could... 3 weeks really isn't too much time to see the country, unless you just want alittle flava.
you mos def should take a hydro-foil over to capri or sardinia and the other islands since you'll be there at a great time of year to see those areas. if you plan to do pompeii/vesuvius, napoli and surrounding areas, go stay in the really nice city of Sorrento... check out pensione linda to stay (its near the station) its run by a sweet old italian family, and one of my favorite places that i stayed on my travels (cheaper then a hostel and much nicer)
