So I have a 5-week trip to Europe planned for the end of March. The first week and a half/two weeks are going to be spent mostly with a family friend of mine in Birmingham, England, and I'll be able to wander around alone here & there.
But then I'm going to "the continent" for the rest of the time, supposedly alone... but somehow I've been roped into a friend who lives in Germany coming along with me for at least two weeks, then visiting another friend in Bordeaux and then visiting *another* friend in Bratislava. (I'm not going to be staying with these friends, which may help.) After that I'll be heading to Prague for a few days, and that most likely will be my "alone" time.
I was really looking forward to wandering around, doing whatever I want whenever I want. Don't get me wrong, I really want to see my friends, and it'll be nice to have some built-in drinking buddies.
But I like my alone time and I'm thinking that I may not get as much of it as I was hoping.
Any thoughts?
