Default Krakow to Prague?

okay I have been worrying about this leg of my trip from Krakow to Prague, as the train ticket is the issue. I got a flight from Munich to Krakow for like 50 or 60 bucks (found it on kayak.com) so I checked flights from Krakow to Prague and the cheapest is $114... it's a long train trip also, and I've been trying to check prices online for train tickets at an earlier date just to get an idea of what the price of a train ticket would be (as in more or less than $114), but because of the holidays, it's like everything is sold out, so I can't check.

Does anyone know appx. how much, or any other websites I can try to find cheaper airfare? I tried ryan air, but they don't go from Krakow to Prague. Any ideas would be sweet.

sweet thanks, I also see there are like 5 airports in the CR as well. I've got like 11 browser windows open right now. apparently dresden germany is pretty close to prague too.

well apparently flying from katowice is cheapest, but then a train from dresden is the same price as the cost as the plane ticket, making it more expensive than to fly directly from Krakow to Prague. looks like I might have to suck that one up.

I got an overnight train in the opposite direction last summer. We just went to the train station the day before and booked it. i cant remember the exact price but I think it must have been about €40 max, so about $60ish

It wasnt the most comfortable journey, but it saves you a nights accomodation and you arrive right in the centre of prague, no hassle getting to and from airports.

Dresden is a little over 2 hours away by train. a quick look on the deutsch bahn website says that it costs about €25 one way
