Eh... probably there just aren't very many people heading to Texas from here? Cheapest seems to be Frontier Airlines for about $330 at Mobissimo.

Sorry Beth, but I couldn't find anything lower than Jeanie's. You could try Priceline.com. There regular priced ticket was $340, so even if you got it down to $300, you'd still be saving.

Dallas is a pretty expensive airport to fly into, I have done it many times and the prices sometimes (almost!) brought me to tears!!
Good luck Beth!

damn you DALLAS! DAMN YOU!
it was always waaaay cheap flying from chicago, but from seattle it's almost double. luckily my parents just moved to new mexico but my best friend and her son are still living there. bullocks, bullocks, bullocks. and it was always just a 12 hour drive down there from chicago, so i used to just do that when i was really broke. it'd only cost $80 in gas in my little geo.

Alamogrodo. my mom says it's beautiful. i can't wait to make it down there to hike. not to mention Guadalupe Peak (the highest peak in Texas) is just 120 miles southeast of where she lives.
where and when'd you live in NW?

I flew austin to seattle in the middle of the summer and I think it was around 270... I guess 300 is about the going price..
The drive was LONG. LONG LONG LONG. We took five days? It should have been fun, but it was just really long and boring. Nothing really to say. Eastern Oregon and Idaho was the worst, flat ugly land, flat, boring people when we stopped...

By the way, if you pass through austin and need a place to stay, let me know. I'll be in the mid east, but my roommates are wonderful and you'd like them heaps.
